Xfinity app says my Gateway is Offline, but my WiFi connection works fine

I am not able to access the devices on my Xfinity app because it keeps saying my gateway is offline. My internet connection works perfectly fine all around my house so how can my gateway be offline? Need help asap as I cannot make changes to my devices that are connected to my WiFi in the app.
