XFinity App No Longer Showing Gateway

I recently had to replace my modem to a XB8 from a XB7 and my Xfinity app no longer shows my gateway or any connected devices.

My Xfinity app is fully updated and I have tried multiple times to uninstall, restart, and log back in, even from different devices, and yet nothing works.

My internet service works fine, although it doesn't show in the Services section on the app, I'm unable to access the devices and modem settings in order to utilize the 2.4G wifi frequency for a few of my devices.

user_vasj7y If your Xfinity app no longer shows your gateway after replacing your modem from an XB7 to an XB8, ensure that your new XB8 gateway is properly connected and powered on. You may need to reconnect your devices using the new WiFi name and password. Check the Xfinity app under **WiFi > View WiFi equipment** to see if the gateway appears. If issues persist, consider restarting the app or your gateway, and ensure that the firmware is up to date for both the gateway and any connected devices.

How did you find a solution? Or is it still an issue. I have the exact same problem now.
