Xfinity App error message when trying to install wifi extenders
I just received two extenders from Xfinity and the process to install them requires using the app, however, upon selecting the appropriate extender and selecting the "Get Started" button, I am immediately directed to an error page "Let's Try That Again; Sorry, we ran into a problem. Please try again or go back to the previous screen." Trying again is an endless loop of the same error message. I have closed out the app and reopened. I have deleted the app and reinstalled - several times. I have called technical support who claimed there was an issue with the app and it would be fixed soon. I was then sent several updates that it should work now. It does not. A quick search for this issue on the internet makes it abundantly clear that Xfinity is well aware there is a glitch and has been for more than a YEAR.
