Xfinity app doesn't show WiFi tab

Today I set up new Xfinity Gateway with existing account and could not activate it through Xfinity app (Error). After it was activated by Xfinity specialist I found out that there is no WiFi tab on Xfinity app and I can not change WiFi password. I can not do it with Admin Toll neither. Does it mean that my account is not in sync with the modem?

Hi There - This sounds like a frustrating experience, but I am happy to help you here. Could you try closing the app and re-opening? The WiFi should display now that the Modem is activated. Please reach out to me directly if you continue to see this issue.

Hi. Thank you. I appreciate your offer to help. The issue is fixed now. Yesterday my xb8 was activated and worked fine. I tried to restart it and reinstall Xfinity app. It did not help. Today internet connection was dropped and I contacted Xfinity  agent online. He confirmed that the modem is activated buy something went wrong. He tested modem and fixed it. He also looked at the Xfinity app issue and elevated it to specialists. I don't know if it was initial improper activation or something with my account but now everything is OK.

Fantastic news. That does sounds like something went awry during Activation, but I am glad to hear all is well now. Thank you for being an Xfinity Customer.
