xFi unlimited data and money
I was told that if I sign up for xFi it will cost me $15 a month and give me unlimited data.
When I called Comcast the customer service lady tells me I need to spend $15 for modem. $10 for phone line. $10 for unlimited data.
So instead of $15 I will have to spend $35.
Is it true that to get unlimited data I need to spend $35 ?
Thanks.

As per many articles on internet you can get unlimited internet for only $15 a month.
Please read:

Robert xFi Advantage should be available to you. However in your area xFi advantage is $15 plus another $10 for unlimited.
In the Central division xFi Advantage is $15 with unlimited included. (Price is increasing to $20 in Central). Also in Central in order to qualify customers have to have at least Extreme 300. Not sure what speed qualifies in your area.

@Paraniod do you if the $15 xFi with unlimited data is available in Northern California. I am in Palo alto and I have 1GBps connection.
Thanks,

As far as I know it's available in the far west, but like I said they charge an extra $10 for unlimited as well as the $15 for xFi Advantage. So $25 total.
In Central xFi Advantage is $15 with unlimited included. (going up to $20 this coming week).

Have a look at the last page of this thread, someone added it in Houston, others added it in CA.

Think I'd PM a Comcast rep on here. Good luck!
