Xfi pods
If we are connected to the gateway we can get close to the 300 speed but when we are connected to a pod we are only getting 9 to 16 for speed. This is causing issues with e-school right now as we are all working at the same time and need to be in different rooms. Why are the pods so much slower?

The xFi Pods are designed to work in a mesh system with your Comcast gateway, to cover the widest possible area.
In order to work as intended, the Pods should be arranged in a "Star" configuration, with your gateway in the center and the individual pods radiating outwards like the points on a star, or spokes on a wheel:

If you have a Pod that's too close or too far from the gateway, or if you have too many Pods in your home, it could cause connection overlap / conflict with devices trying to access your network, or even with other Pods, thus slowing down your speed.

Try disconnecting and rearranging the Pods, one at a time, in the star configuration as mentioned above.

Hi, It sounds to me like your Xfinity Gateway is too far away from the first pod and then possibly the next pod is too far away from a pod and or the device itself.
