XFi app says I’m not an authorized user?

I just hooked up to gateway. Reset the network name and password. Logged into the Xfinity account app. Downloaded the xfi app to manage WiFi but when I log in I get a message that says I’m not an authorized user. Log in credentials are correct. I’ve never had Comcast before, no prior accounts. How do I log into the xfi app?

It did the same thing to me so I just went online created another user with a different email and gave it manager permissions than signed in with that. Not the greatest solution but it worked.
