Xfi App not showing WiFi network settings or information
On August 4, 2022, Xfinity eliminated the website where you could see and modify your Wifi network settings, which forced everyone to use the Xfi app for those functions. On August 1, 2022, Xfinity pushed out an update to the Xfi app and now, the Xfi app no longer displays Wifi network settings or information, which means there is no way to see or modify your Wifi network settings. The only thing the Xfi app shows is account information. Xfinity needs to fix the Xfi app so that it shows Wifi network settings and information.

I'm having the same problem as the original poster. You are misunderstanding the problem so I'll try to explain it to you. When we load the Xfinity app on iOS we expect there to be a section where we can manage our wifi connections, change the network name, etc. That is not working. The only thing that shows up in the app is the account information. Nothing else at all shows up in my case.
I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. I have restarted my iPhone. I am using the Xfinity gateway as my router so I am not using my own router. Something is broken in the app itself.

You can't update the advanced settings as you could with the online app. Such as port forwarding, ip address, etc. This app is useless.

Why does the Xfinity App not have a 'connect' option to manage connections currently?

I’m having the same problem… iOS missing the “connect” button on the bottom to manage internet settings. Has anyone been able to resolve this? I tried calling support last night and they just rebooted my modem and told me to call back tomorrow..they had no idea.

I am having the same issue. I was told it was because the modem is in an "advanced mesh" setting that it controls everything for you. This has now locked me out of even adding a new Xfi Pod to my system. I am now completely hosed on doing anything with my network and Xfiniti is controlling everything. This is the most screwed up system I have ever seen.

4th time was the charm for me. Finally got a rep on the phone who didn’t insist on sending a technician out and looked at the provisioning on Xfinity’s end and there was a problem. The app now works as it should and I am able to control my network from it again.

Added a doorbell camera which is to be managed/ viewed on the Xfinity app ( not Xfinity Home app). The Xfinity app only gives access to account. So only way to see doorbell camera is on tv.
Before adding doorbell camera had icons at bottom which included Home, Users, plus others.
Any solutions?

I have the new xfi gateway and I have a Tablo dvr that I would like to access outside of the home and tried everything I could to setup port forwarding and nothing works. the tablo gives us the port info so I have that. also on the new xfinity app their is no option to toggle the public wifi on or off although when I first got the app it was showing up. the option totally disappeared and now they are doing away with the old xfinity app that does currently have it. and of all the questions on here the xfinity reps are not listening and just giving the generic answer which is not acceptable. so why don't any reps really try to help instead of trying to deflect things away from the problem. is it that they don't really know anything about which they should know about
