I was just informed by a support tech that the xFi app system is under going maintenance and that could be causing issues.
No corroboration just one tech on the telephone...

It might be beneficial to other customers, if someone from Comcast could verify this.
Supposedly I will be contacted after the "maintenance" is completed to see if my issues have been resolved. I will update when I hear back, if I do indeed get contacted.
