My local Xfinity store indicates that the XB7 Gateway is currently only available to customers with 1000 Mbps internet speed plans.

The XB7 Gateway is now available in the Seattle area 98177. Activated mine yesterday using the xFi app and everything transferred over from my old XB3 Gateway.
