Unpaused devices show connected but aren’t working

After unpausing devices they show as connected in the Xfi app but aren’t actually connecting to the internet. Most of the devices or apps are giving an error indicating that the app caches need to be cleared or reset. The problem is I need internet on those devices to clear the caches (I think?). I genuinely have no idea what’s going on so any help is appreciated.

Edit:  apparently changing the Wi-Fi name and password is the solution to this. At least in my experience.
