Unknown devices connected to WiFi overnight

About a half dozen devices connected to my xfinity router around 2-3am. Some of them appear to be routers possibly; arris device, arrisgro, quantaco device, an iPhone, an Apple Watch, amazon device and a Samsung galaxy. The WiFi has a password and no one that I know of was here to connect any devices.

Do you own any of those devices ? Cross-reference their actual physical MAC address numbers with the MAC address numbers indicated and see.

As an FYI:

We've seen many many posts about this here lately ! The work-around is to disable the Advanced Security and not use it for now, it's buggy.;

Their Advanced Security feature has recently been pushed to their gateway devices via a firmware update whether you want it or not, hence the hypochondriac notices.

I have had many 54 or more....WiFi is limited in distance... Can not be any one near to connect. Called Xfinity got nowhere. asked for higher tear group agent and got transfer to same. READY to go back to ATT. They have no answer!

WiFi is limited in connection signal distance. I have VERY strong 24 character and symbol password, still keeps happening! Xfinity agent NO HELP! Broadcasting or not broadcasting does not matter. Enter your IP address and you get router log in, even when not port forwarded! Their router gateway have flaws.

This has been happening to me as well since 2/17/20 - mine is only 1 device - arris - a gateway box but not the one I currently have. I pulled the plug & restarted after it happened twice and changed my WiFi password - but it happened just now again. I wish there was a block this device feature on the app but only option is to forget it... no one seems to be around but who can say? Also having issues connecting a device to an outside network since changing my WiFi password. DNS issues - extra code appearing that shouldn’t be there. Doesn’t appear that we are “connected and protected” too well despite our high monthly bills.

This happened to me tonight. My app says an unknown device tried to connect at around 3 AM, while everyone was asleep... and nobody knows the PW but me. After looking up the brand I found that ARRISGRO is an AT&T UVerse Box which i don’t have at all but I know my next door neighbor does, yet again nobody knows my password.

I found a similar answer to forgetting the l device and Changing your PW right away on the AT&T forum, (linked below) from 6 months ago.

This happened to me last night at around 4.45 AM. I was really scared if it was a suspicious thing and contacted Xfinity. They told me they escalated the issue. Waiting for answers now.
