Unable to change WIFI network name on Xfinity app.

I tried to change the WIFI network name through the Xfinity APP. It does not work. On the app, it has been updated to the new name I edited. However, on other devices, the WIFI name appears as the old name. Why can't I change the wifi name? Do I need to wait a couple of days to see the new change?
