Unable to access subscription apps on Xfinity DVR

I recently subscribed to AppleTV+ and Curiosity Stream. I cannot access them. I keep getting this error (for the last several days. Give Us A few Minutes. We’re having trouble opening this app. Please give us a few minutes then try again. APPS-04154."

I am paying for services I can't use and the help bot is USELESS - it sends me in a loop with no help, there is no way to contact customer  service.

There has to be a better way to get help for things that don't work.
