Turning off WiFi hotspot

Under advanced setting in the app and trying on a webpage it won’t let me opt out of hotspot. The app says error loading. The webpage says device isn’t supported . It is supported because when I enabled the internet two new connections appeared. Xfinity WiFi and the mobile one too.

Hi there, @user_kfj3wv! We are happy to help with the Hotspot and apologize that has been giving you trouble. Those are turned on by default unless you turn them off. Instead of using our website to turn off the feature, have you tried the Xfinity app? The instruction to do that are here. If that does not work, we can help from our end. 

Please also note that sending unsolicited private messages to myself or any other user is a direct violation of our forum guidelines. You must first create a Public post requesting assistance, and once a Comcast verified employee responds and asks for a private message to be sent, you can then proceed with doing so.
