Subfolders hidden iPad

I have several Subfolders in my Comcast’s email program on IPad.   When I created a new Subfolder all of my existing ones disappeared.  I have tried several things suggested on troubleshooting email including deleting and setting up again but they are still hidden.

Greetings, @user_6avivq! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about these missing subfolders. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

Are you still able to see the subfolders or the emails that were contained in them when you log in to your email through a web browser at connect.xfinity.com, or were the folders only ever available in the Apple Mail app?

I think the folders are thru the Apple Mail app.  I know the folders still exist but they are hidden.  I can find an email contained in a folder only by doing a search of the sender.  For example, I can search for American Airlines and it’ll bring up all emails from them.  That’s the only way I’ve been able to locate flight confirmations I’ve put in a folder named “Travel”

This sounds like an issue with the Apple mail app itself. When you select Mailboxes, do you see the Edit option on the upper right-hand side? If you select that, Do you see the subfolders listed there?
