Spacing of Xfinity pods

Is there a recommended spacing of pods?  My house is approx 2200sq ft. My router is connected in a 2nd fl. office. I have two pods on the 1st floor  (A & B ), at opposite ends of the house and one in our semi-finished basement (C). Through the X1 app, I can see connections to A &C.  The connection speed is fine throughout the house now, but I'm wondering if pod B is really necessary at all or if simply finding a different spot for it would have any effect.
