Same device showing multiple connections
My company laptop shows up as a new device every day even though I have assigned it to a profile. Could this cause it to have an unstable connection?

Hello, Baybee1031. Welcome to the Xfinity Forums.
As this is a company laptop, are you using a VPN? Are you actively having an unstable connection? If so I can absolutely look further into this for you. I look forward to your update!

Hi. Thanks for your response. I had not looked for any response since Comcast told me it was "normal" and I didn't have the time. The answer to your questions: yes it's a company laptop, yes I have to use VPN, yes I have unstable internet connection. Do you have any idea how to get rid of all the other logins showing up as a generic pc?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply!
When using a VPN it is normal to see multiple device listings. Put simply a VPN will display your device with a new IP or identity each time, this is part of what helps you stay secure. On the other hand, you should still have a healthy connection and I would love to take a closer look into that for you. Please send me a private message with your first and last name, as well as your service address so I can assist.
