[RESOLVED] Android vs iOS
I have a Samsung A52 G5 and a iPhone 15 with the Xfinity App installed. However, the information displayed is not the same. On the A52, when I navigate to the Devices page. I see all my Home network connected devices in the right categories. On the iPhone not so good. Two of my Linux PCs are listed in the "Other" category. My Galaxy tablet is missing even though it is connected. So, it is obvious the iOS version of the app is broken and needs work, yes?

Hello user_zwe4nj, thank you for reaching out here in our Xfinity Community forum, we appreciate you taking the time. As for the app differences, (just to be thorough), a few quick questions. Are the devices you have the apps installed on updated to their latest version? Is the app on those devices updated to the latest version?

I'm marking this thread [resolved] but not [solved]. The manner in which the Xfinity app works in device discovery is mystifying to say the least. A few months I didn't have any problems understanding what I saw, even between different mobile devices (Apple vs Samsung). It appears Xfinity has development teams working on the same app but implementing different features and affecting the look and feel of the app. There is also another issue I have with the app. I have multiple guest VMs in my home network. They no long appear by themselves in the "Connected devices" section. What happens is when the guest VM starts up and connects, the guest VMs details replace the details of the host in the "connected devices" list. Then after an hour or so everything gets corrected from somewhere. I guest the Xfinity Cloud talks to my gateway to fix the ARP table, idk. Very strange and quirky. The only part that makes sense to me is the "Test internet connect" task. Although the guest VMs don't show up in the tested devices, just the hosts.
