Question about device names
So I’ve had my xfinity network for a couple days now. Since I got everything connected up until now...on the app under where it shows your connected devices it had the names of the devices listed. An example my iPhone is name Johns-phone & my television is a 32 inch Roku tv. Up until just now. They’ve been listed as such under the connected devices. Johns-phone, 32”roku. So I just got on a couple of minutes ago and for some reason they all read differently. I have done nothing to change this and just don’t understand what could have made them appear differently. I’m asking because I’ve had concerns of my neighbors in the past hacking into my information. The devices now list as this instead: Apple513-E &

Like I said I have done nothing to change this setting and am just concerned as to why it would do that. Thanks!

That Xfi app doesn't work well since iOS 14. I currently have four iPhones listed for myself listed while I only own one iphone. The app just randomly chooses a different name and which one is connected on any given day or time. I also seem to have two or three apple watches when I actually only own one. My husband's iPhone and Apple Watch have the same thing going on. My MacBook Pro is only listed once, as it the iPad, smart tv, printer, etc. Apple blames it on Comcast and Comcast blames it on Apple. The Home Security app is nothing to write home about either. My automation rules disappear frequently and I'm stuck just waiting for them to reappear and my cameras tend to disconnect sometimes. If you can find a solution, please share it. Others have this issue.

I hope the Xfinity app hasn't been hacked somehow.
