Preventing new devices from accessing network

I have a 14 year old who is constantly circumventing your new parental controls by changing device ID or MAC address of the device so that it is not included in the profile established for him...  Now I have to constantly log into Xfi app to see if new devices are running and turn off accesses, which honeslty 5 minutes later he creates a new one. BEFORE anyone asks, NO he does not have access to acct emial or WiFi password. I have even changed the password on multiple occassions and he still accesses it. HELP!!!

  • Do you have xFi set up so you're alerted every time a new device connects?
  • Do you have X1 cable TV? You can access xFi over the set top boxes, disable it.
  • Finally, have you tried either confiscating or locking down his personal devices? You're the adult and the parent and you're the one paying the bill.
