Im trying to port forward. i went to xfi and set it up but when i check it says the port is closed, i turned off advanced security as well. Is there a problem?

Hi @Colbewild! Thanks for posting to the Xfinity Forum to get help. By chance, have you tried these steps to Set Up Port Forwarding Using the Xfinity App?
Same here. I port forward successfully by using app AND login to website to check as well. Then I went to a website called " Port Checker", it told me that the port was closed on my IP. I turned off the security in xfinity and it was still closed.
