Port Forwarding works for a little while, then just stops working.

Using the app, I've set up port forwarding but it only works for a short time. After that, it's still there in the settings, but it stops working. If I delete the forward and make it again, it works again for a short time.

@24Flicker I appreciate you reviewing the link to make sure all proper steps to set up this port forward have been done. So that we don't go over something you've already done, can you please share with me what troubleshooting steps have you completed on your own? Have you by any chance used the Xfinity app to reset the modem prior to setting up the port forward? How about a power cycle, have you tried that?

But hang on. Somehow I didn't realize the router I have the Xfinity one going into wasn't set as an access point. I've set it to that now, and that should solve the problem, but I'll see.
