Port Forward by IP address not the nebulous "device" category

For various reasons I have a device with a single device / mac address and two IP addresses attached to it, 10.0.0.19 & 10.0.0.20. For reasons I need to forward a few ports on those separate IPs.
Unfortunately the Xfinity app seems incapable of doing this with the Xfi gateway. When port forwarding I only have the option of selecting a device and it only has the 10.0.0.19 address while the device details in the app only lists 10.0.0.20 instead of both.

When I select to add a port forward in the app how do I manually enter the IP to forward instead of the device from a drop down list.

Hello, and a warm welcome to the Xfinity Forums Community! We're glad to have you here. You can choose from the list of common applications to use a recommended, preset configuration (e.g., Xbox or PlayStation) or select Manual Setup to enter specific port numbers, ranges and/or protocols.

This article is designed to help you set up port forwarding on your home network—a useful feature if you're trying to improve connectivity for specific devices or applications. You also have the option to enable port triggering, depending on your needs.

If you're renting an Xfinity Gateway, we offer two simple ways to set up port forwarding:

xFi Gateway Users: You can set up port forwarding easily using the Xfinity app.
Non-xFi Gateway Users: You can configure port forwarding through the Admin Tool on your gateway.

@XfinityThomasA Hello Unfortunately this does not answer the question. I have one device with two IP addresses. Port forwarding is working on 10.0.0.19 as that was the original IP and what I had originally port forwarded. I want to be able to port forward to 10.0.0.20 as well.
The Xfinity app does not handle these kinds of situations as well as the admin interface on the router used to. Where can I just enter the IP I want the port forward to instead of selecting by device?

user_8mrail - Here’s how to set up port forwarding using your Xfinity Gateway:

Open a browser on a device connected to your home network and go to: http://10.0.0.1

Log in to the Admin Tool:

Username: admin
Password: password (you’ll be prompted to change this the first time—please update it and log in again with your new password).
In the left-hand menu, click Advanced, then select Port Forwarding.

Click Enable—the button should turn green.

In the Port Forwarding section, click +ADD SERVICE.

On the Add Service page:

Choose a service (like FTP, HTTP, etc.) from the Common Service dropdown. This will auto-fill the port numbers.
If your service isn’t listed, select Other, enter a Service Name, and manually input the required Start and End Ports.
Choose the Service Type (TCP, UDP, or both—TCP/UDP is the default).

Click CONNECTED DEVICE to select the device you want to forward ports to. This will auto-fill the IP address fields.

If the CONNECTED DEVICE button doesn’t appear:

Open a new browser tab and go to Connected Devices > Devices.
Find your device under Online Devices, copy its IP address.
Go back to the Port Forwarding tab and paste the IP address into the appropriate field.
Click Save to apply the rule.

Before logging out, take note of your WAN IP address by going to Gateway > Connection > XFINITY Network in the left menu. You’ll need this to use the game or service you just set up.

Xfinity disabled port forwarding using the web UI
"Managing your home network settings is now easier than ever.
Please download the Xfinity xFi app to set up port forwards, among many other features and settings."

user_8mrail For the higher models, that is correct. I apologize, you cannot directly set up port forwarding for the same port on two different IP addresses on an Xfinity gateway using the standard xFi app or web interface. Each port can only be forwarded to a single device (and its corresponding IP address). If you need to forward the same port to multiple devices, you'll need to use a workaround like a reverse proxy server or a separate router.
