Pausing and Unpausing Wifi issue

Hello. I have started using the Pause and Unpause feature at night, so that I can control my kids ability to be on their equipment all night. The pause feature works great; however, when I go to unpause in the morning the devices say they're connected, but no internet is available. It says Server not available and won't connect. We should't have to restart our wifi router every day just to get the devices to reconnect, right? Please help.
