Pausing A Remote Device With Xfinity App

When you use the Xfinity App to remotely pause a device such as an Xbox, TV or Playstation, is any notification displayed on the device advising the user that the device has been paused?

Thank you!

Thank you for your post. The only way someone would know for sure that their device is paused, is if they have access to the Xfinity app with privileges to to make those changes in the app, such as the primary or manager.

@XfinityDaryl Thank you Daryl. So nothing splashes across the screen saying "This device has been paused", correct?

I use the xFi app a lot to pause devices and from what I have seen it tends to depend on the device whether you get that message or not. I finally ended up just making each individual a profile in my home so I don't accidentally pause the wrong TV or gaming console on my kids if one of them lost privileges. I hope this information help.
