No option for WiFi Equipment on Xfinity app

When I open the Xfinity app, and select the Wi-Fi icon on the lower center of the screen, there is no option to view Wi-Fi equipment . . . so I can do port forwarding, DMZ, etc.

I have deleted the app, restarted my iPhone, restarted the XB8 modem, reinstalled the app. The functionality was there a few months ago on the app and now it has disappeared.

Thank you!

@user_3u5j4v Depending on what equipment you have, and services, the view via the Xfinity app can be different. But we'll make sure we get this working for you! Are you using one of our modems and on one of our updated internet tiers? Do you have bridge mode for your modem enabled?

XB8 modem.

I did have it in bridge mode so I understand that the WiFi services feature will not be available. However, after disabling bridge mode and restarting the modem the modem and iPhone numerous times the WiFi services feature is not available . . . like it was a few months ago. I need the WiFi services so I can do port forwarding.

Now it is working fine, typical :-)

I still can’t figure out how to upload a photograph on this thread. Anyway, thanks for your help.

Haha. Love it when that happens. I am glad to hear that everything is seemingly working as normal. Please let us know if there is anything further we could assist you with.

@user_3u5j4v       ;  Upload Photograph  🖼️

Hi there ,

               After this response , go to  :  " comment on this post here "  > tap the three dots … to see a second row of options  >  before the ▶️ play icon is a photos icon , tap it > tap to upload image > choose from where > choose photo > add  .

            I phrased it that way because I had difficulty identifying that photos icon the first time I uploaded an image , it's not how I would have drawn it .
    I sure hope that it works out for you . 🤗
