My app is not letting me activate ‼️

“Sorry that didn’t go as planned” ….this is all I keep seeing ..I can’t even activate my device ..what wrong with this app?

Howdy user_gc21e! Sorry to hear you're running into those error messages with our Xfinity app on your phone, but I appreciate you coming to our community for help! If you keep getting the “Sorry that didn’t go as planned” message, the first thing I'd recommend checking is that your phone or tablet is all the way updated with its latest firmware updates. From there, try uninstalling the app completely and logging back in after reinstalling. Lets us know if you run into any issues from there!
