Modem swap caused Xfinity WiFi features to disappear

Technician swapped gateway from XB7 to XB8 and now I can no longer manage WiFi, add pods or activate Storm Ready from the app.

Sdnoar Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issues connecting your pods and Storm Ready Wi-Fi Device. We'd like to help troubleshoot. Have you tried rebooting the modem manually or through the Xfinity App? I would recommend disconnecting the pods and Storm Ready Wi-Fi Device and reconnecting them as well. This can help refresh the connection overall.

I resolved the issue by contacting Comcast and finally connecting with an agent.  My old modem was stuck in a “pending delete” state in one of the tools and the agent needed to push it through to resolve.  Working fine now…
