Internet Tab disappeared

We had to switch our previous modem to an XB7 a few months ago. Since then, the tab on the app where I could control the WiFi setting is gone.

I tried to solve the issue via chat but none of the proposed solutions ever worked.

what can I do?

user_9krvkf Good morning, and Happy Friday! Thank you for reaching out to our Community Forums Team for assistance with your internet. It sounds like your modem may not have finished the activation all the way when you made the switch. I'm happy to assist you in getting finished up today. Can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

Hello, @Reenr

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
