"Internet is offline" but connection is working fine

My modem is a Motorola MG7700. I activated it yesterday and everything runs smoothly aside from the xfinity app saying ""Your home internet is offline," when, again, the wifi and internet work fine. It seems to be a glitch inside the app.

Things I've checked:

  • Unplugged and plugged the modem several times with no change in status.

  • Deleted and reinstalled the app a couple times.
  • Cable connections seem tight.

  • Modem firmware version has not changed

I searched the forum for other posts about this problem and it seems an employee reached out, hoping the same for my case as well.
