I need to check wifi history from the router

I have reason to believe my son is using incognito mode on his chromebook and I need to know what he has been doing online.  How do I check the history on our router?

Greetings marckmckay! I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here on the forums. I hope you are having an amazing day. I certainly understand wanting to monitor kids activities when it comes to online as I have one myself I need to keep an eye on from time to time. At this time we do not have a way to trace where an IP is going at this time in modems. As QuestionGod has pointed out, to get this type of information you would be a 3rd party program or possibly high-end router to set up specific logs in order to accomplish this. However, we do have parental controls that can certainly be set up through the awesome xFi program. For more information on the parental controls see the following link:  https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/set-up-parental-controls-with-comcast-networking

If you have any further questions, feel free to send me a PM with your first and last name so I may further assist you. To send a private message, please click my name "ComcastMichael" then select "Send a Message" on the right side.

Xfinity does not offer this feature. xFinity does have and do log your network activity(s), though said logs and data is "only" for them and advertisers

If you have the knowledge of doing so you CAN view your network activity to an extent via a network sniffer, however if the other party was smart enough to use a VPN then any data or logs obtained will offer nothing. This won't help you now, but you can use online 3rd party software for network logging but most will require to purchase a new router not from xFinity. I would provide sources  to said services, but to be honest why would i or anyone actually pay to have my data be logged
