I CANNOT change the password OR SPLIT Bands into 2.4G - 5G in the App or in the Xfin login Admin screen, (with Xf Esentials (cheap)
Why won't the Comcast/NBC/Xfinity APP let me change my wifi password? in the APP , OR rhe xfinity Adin login online. ALSO Why can't I split wifi bands into 2 (2.4 and 5G) so older devices cant get online????
(With xfinity essentials service) Why does xfinity comcast hate their low end subscribers so? where they can't get things done?

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues making changes to your network settings, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
You should be able to change your Wi-Fi password through the Xfinity app by going to the "Wi-Fi" tab and selecting "Wi-Fi" settings. Can you tell me a little more about what happens when you try to do this? Are you getting any errors or popups?
