How to disconnect device from home network?

I cannot disconnect a device on the Xfinity app. It says to “disconnect the device from the home network.” How can I do that without removing all devices or changing my password?

Thank you for reaching out for help with removing devices from your Wi-Fi network using the Xfinity app. When you select the device, do you see an option that says "Forget Device"? This will forget the devices credentials for log in, and remove it from the network. Were you able to get the device removed?

@XfinityBrandon Please help. I am able to pause a device but can’t forget it or disconnect it. My app says “you must first disconnect the device from the network before you can forget device”. I have looked all over app as well as logged onto Xfinity online. Our account through the website says I have no connected devices. The app shows the 9 or so devices I have connected. I followed the link provided online but there is no option for disconnecting devices through the app and no devices shown within our account online. Please help.

@user_16ca60 Can you go to the devices that are connected, can you see all the details for those devices? If so, you may want to try logging directly into your modem and adding those devices to the not allowed list.

I no longer work for Comcast.
