HELP! SOMEONE HAS HACKED INTO MY WIFI AND I NEED TO SHUT IT OFF

I received a call that unknown people have accessed my wifi and are using it for illlegal activities. I was instructed to shut off the modem but I am at work. How do I shut it off on my account online?
