Help activating XFi pod with Xfinity app

I purchased a new pod.  When I open the App the pod does not appear on the devices I can activate.  Tech support was not able to determine how to fix.  I have deleted the App and downloaded it again - no change.  Suggestions?

No my question was not answered.  I still cannot activate the pod I purchased.  Been trying for 5 days!
