Espn not working on Xfinity app
Is anybody else experiencing this issue? I have the app on my phone and I can watch ESPN. When I mirror it to my TV, it doesn’t work. I then install the app on my TV And I am running into the same problem.

This issue has been going on for months. The frustrating runaround and incessant reboot non-solution just makes things worse. Acknowledge the months long problem like the corporate behemoth you are and get this fixed. I want to watch the fights on my TV, not my phone.

Having the same issue as everyone else here. Been through the reboot and troubleshooting on the app and spoke with live person on the phone. Several hours later and three different conversation sessions - still unable to connect. Same error message. ESPN tells me it’s Xfinity that can’t detect the upgraded signals ESPN is putting out for their app. Xfinity tells me it’s a nation wide outage since Nov 8 2024 and will be fixed “next week.” Supposedly the xfinity “engineers are working on it.” It’s been 3 mos and still can’t access programs over the TV. JUST GETTING LIP SERVICE. I really don’t think anyone is truly trying to resolve this issue. Just bcs I can access it on my phone doesn’t mean I don’t want to watch it on my TV. It’s advertised as being available “on all devices.” Also pretty disappointed that there has been NO communication from anyone about this issue or what is being done to resolve it. It’s a lot of money to pay for a subscription and not to be able to access it as advertised and promoted. People aren’t happy! Get with it Xfinity!

I have an update on the ESPN+ app. The issue has gone from "under investigation" to "pending implementation". Per the engineering ticket that I have been following, the app is properly launching with the new build of the ESPN+ app. At this time, we are just waiting for the update to be released by the parent company so we can push it to the X1 boxes.
