Connecting Rainbird RC2 controller

Unsuccessful in connecting Rainbird RC2 controller to Rainbirds server, via the Gateway.  Rainbird says it needs ports 80, 8080, and 50004 open but the app only opens 80 for me.  Tech support should be able to open them for me, right?
