Xfinity rep offered, unprompted, to lower my bill. NEVER revealed that he’d do that by removing HBO and Showtime. I would never have agreed. After 3 hours on the phone with various reps, the “loyalty” rep told me the package I’ve had for many years was no longer available and I’d have to subscribe to those 2 apps separately. So NO lowered bill, and a complete waste of time. Deceitful, underhanded tactics to get rid of legacy packages.
