Can't update the Xfinity app from the Google playstore

I reached out to the developer on the site and I get an email back saying my email eas deleted and to come here. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this? This said this before but the update took. So why now is this a problem for someone who's been a customer for about going on 7 years?🤔
