Can't sign into the xfinity app

I'm trying to activate my new xfinity wifi equipment but I can't login as it says I'm not authorized as a customer.

Hi @DoubleValen6 thank you for visiting our Xfinity Community Forums for help with your account. Are you still experiencing issues at this time? After a move or if a new account is set up, you may receive that error until the account is fully active. 

 

If you need help with making sure your account is active please send us a direct message: 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
