Can't See A Connected Device

My son has a TP Link Wireless USB Adaptor on his PC to connect to my Xfi Network.  I am trying to manage his internet time, but this divice does not show up as a connected device, though it is definitely connected.  How can I solve this so it is visible?

Hello for me to help you with that I will need you to send me your full name and Xfinity account number in a personal message. I will then be able to pull up your xFi app and look over it all for you. I am sorry to hear that you're not able to pause the internet with his usb adapter connected.

@ComcastJosh  i have a very similar issue and would like to message you.  However when i click on your name i do not see anywhere to send a personal message

Please just be as specific in this room as possible and let me know the things you have already tried such as uninstalling the app. It is very important also to know what extra networking equipment is installed such as your own router etc.
