Cannot sign into app, says I successfully signed in but says I am not an Xfinity user. I am new and just set up my router

Exactly what the subject says. I've tried to sign in on mobile on two different phones and am getting the same error page saying I successfully signed in but that I cannot open the app because I am not an Xfinity user. I am new and was trying to get things set up, my phone and email are both attached to my account because when I called the Xfinity support number it gave my physical address and it was correct. Why can I not use the app?

This issue often occurs with new accounts because the Xfinity ID is not properly linked to your new account, or there is an activation delay. To fix this, create a new username at xfinity.com/getstarted to link your new account.
