Cannot Order Free Xfi Pods
I was given a link to order the 3 free xfi pods and it never worked. I called customer support on 2 different occasions and they have no answers for me other than to post on this forum in hopes that someone will get back to me. They told me that the link has now expired as of February 4th but I have been trying to order them since early January.

I went into the store and they said that I qualified for the free pods and they would send them out. I have not seen them and when I called in Customer service said I woul need to up grade my service for $11 a month to qualify. I have just added a wireless modem at the other end of my home and it as a very weak signal. Not sure if I should go back to the store or if you can help here.

I'm sorry for the inconvenince. Free pods are only offered to customers that have signed up for the xFi Advantage package and their wWiFi assessment detemined that their network could benefit from pods. You could either purchase a pack of pods (information available here - https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfi-pods-faqs) or switch your package to xFi Advantage.
Thanks,
Hana

The whole Xfinity experience has been horrible dealing with this. After waiting an hour to get a call back I spent an hour on hold to be told there was no record of my prior 3 calls about getting free Wi-Fi pods. I’ve done it online and have screen shoots they were approved. Three times I was told they were on their way and never came. Today the agent that finally answered the call told me there was no record, put me on hold for 1/2 hour then my call was transferred back to the regular que. at this point I still want these pods I was promised and now an account credit for my time and aggravation. After writing this I got put on hold. An hour later a call center in the Philippines then I got transferred to customer retention zero help, no credit. My option was back to tech support to start the entire process over with a 1 hour wait time or maybe “he could find me a supervisor”. Of course I was hung up on.

Was your account an xFi Advantage account? I don't see any history that indicated that your were an xFi Advantage. Unfortunately xFi Advantage has been retired in the region of your service address so we wouldn't be able to add it to your account.
The Wifi Assessment and the free xFi Pods that are recommended when the WiFi Assessment determines that you could benefit from pods is only available for xFi Advantage customers. If you've completed an online form to get free pods, those forms were created for xFi advantage customers and eligibility is checked before the pods are fulfilled.
Thanks,
Hana

I have been to my local Xfinity store twice now and they have said I qualify for the free pods. Both times they said they had placed too order. Guess what, no pods. We are all Xfi advantage in this area.

Hi @HDBulldog
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, I do not see the xFi Advantage rate codes on your account. Please let me know if you've signed up for xFi Advantage in the past and there was an error in setting up your account.
Thanks,
Hana

I'm having the same issue here. Each time I've received the notice since switching to xFi Advantage, I complete the required exercise only to receive the unavailable message. Customer Service basically said to keep trying, which I did - multiple times to no avail.
