cannot login to xfinity app to install new xfinity gateway modem
I received the new modem and began to do the installation but the Xfinity app won't let me login - I went to my computer and was able to login via the chrome browser but using the same credentials I cannot login to the app I get the following message:
Access Denied
You don't have permissions to access "http://login.xfinity.com/lolgin" on this server

I have cleared cache/cookies - uninstalled and re-installed the app . . nothing works and right now I cannot even login to the Internet site on my desktop. . .I even tried to get help via the chat and the AI help was just a loop of nonsense. . . . .PLEASE HELP!

Hey there, @user_549fkf. That would be quite frustrating being unable to activate your new modem after just receiving it. Were you able to get past the login issues you were having earlier to get access to activating the modem through our self-service? Utilizing the Xfinity Assistant in the future is a great option for assisting with account and troubleshooting concerns.
