Cannot forward ports on my xFi Gateway

I have used the app to forward ports as instructed previously, but this does not appear to actually work.

Hi, user_gsk5pd! Thanks for spending your time reaching out to XFINITY for help with the unresolved port forwarding issues since last November. As someone who relys on remote computer access, I understand the inconvenience that this can cause. I am sorry to learn about this experience. We are the right place to go for support. When setting up the port forwarding, are you setting it up for devices with IPv4 or IPv6 addresses? At this time, we only support port forwards to be set up for devices with an IPv4 address. Have you also tried doing a modem swap?

As far as I'm aware, I'm setting it up for devices that have an IPv4 address.

What do you mean by a modem swap? I've only ever had the one gateway. Do you mean exchanging it for a different one at the store or something?

Correct, user_gsk5pd. Would you be open to exchanging the modem for a different one? You can pick one up at your nearest XFINITY store or we can have one shipped out to you.

I would be open to that - how would I go about setting that up?

user_gsk5pd, Would you like to visit the store or have one shipped to your address?

done that

I'm encountering the "Something unexpected happened" error when trying to access the Port Forwarding option in the Xfinity App. What should I do? I require this service. The app is up-to-date. The Admin Tool accessed by "http://10.0.0.1" is outdated; I've moved away from it. I want to set up port forwarding, a feature I used 4 months ago.

These are the TCP and UDP ports I need to open for my PC video game:
TCP: 3074, 4000, 6112-6119, 20500, 20510, 27014-27050, 28960
UDP: 3074, 3478, 4379-4380, 6112-6119, 20500, 20510, 27000-27031, 27036, 28960

Here is the reference for the ports I want to open: [Activision Support]  PC https://support.activision.com/articles/ports-used-for-call-of-duty-games

The new Call of Duty game is releasing soon, and I want my ports opened in preparation.
