Cannot change Xfinity router settings.

The tech who came home and set up my router told me that the ability to control router settings would be present on the app within a few hours of him setting up the router. That did not happen, I do not have a wifi tab on my app. Since then I've interacted with multiple Xfinity agents who say they've made fixes and that the changes will reflect in a few minutes. However, I still do not have access to the wifi tab in my app.

Posting here in the hope that I can get a resolution to my problem. I want to be able to change my router settings and change the password asap.

Xfinity has easily been the worst company I've ever had to interact with.

I've spoken to their reps at thrice on the phone for extended periods of time and at least thrice over chat. They keep promising that things would be fixed 30 minutes later or 60 minutes later and nothing happens. I'm pretty sure that's a tactic just to get you off the call.

On one of the initial calls, I was sent to an Xfinity store to pick up a router because I didn't want to wait for a shipment that would be delivered in 5 days. When I got to the store they told me that I couldn't be given a router and that I would have to wait for the Xfinity tech to come home with a router many days later. I'm not sure where the communication gap is but the incompetence is unbelievable.
