Bring back TV remote app!!
No customer asked for this app to be removed. This app was very helpful and easy to use.
Comcast/Xfinity needs to restore this app immediately!!
Your alternative solutions, aren’t even close to what the TV remote app did.

I agree and hope Xfinity’s brings back the remote app. I rely on it all the time. Who ever thought it was a good idea to retire it should be fired!!!!

Retire the TV remote app??? Terrible idea. It was the best remote ever. And the substitute Web Remote is laughable.
Bring back the app please.

Web remote is completely useless for choosing and recording shows. Xfinity Stream app is not the answer as it lacks functionality. Hard to navigate, doesn’t allow you to select show on phone to play on tv, can’t extend the time of a recording so the end isn’t cut off. When I set it to record 2 things that involve the Mets it records every single show involving the Mets and if you try to be selective it cancels everything.
Compared to the remote app this sucks as a suggested alternative.
please either bring back the Remote app or update the functionality of the Stream app.
With the money we pay for cable you should be able to supply a functioning app.
