Arris Device just connected to your home network

Received text and email this morning at 4:59am indicating a device called ARRIS Arris Device just connected to your home network. I have not added any devices and was asleep at the time.  What is this?

Thanks Robert.  Saw you too had received this message as well as other customers. Been with xfinity since this summer but this is the first time the message had popped up.

I just received the same message. We have not added anything new for quite a while. Is this something to be concerned about?
