Hello, @user_s9vy6v thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forum. I understand being concern when an unkown device shows up on your home network. If you're using our Xfinity gateway there is an advanced security feature that can be activated: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/getting-started-with-xfinity-xfi-advanced-security

I also found this helpful document that has more information about different security modes: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/change-wifi-security-mode

If you haven't done so, I'd recommend resetting your home network password: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/view-change-wifi-password

Personalizing your home network is helpful as well, I name all the device on my network that way I can tell if anything unusual appears: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/personalize-customize-hnetwork-xfi

Another thing you may want to check is to ensure you have a MOCA filter attached to your coaxial cable connection. This helps secure the home network, if you don't have a MOCA filter those can be picked up at a Xfinity Store or you can schedule a technician visit, but that option may incure a charge for the visit.
